Plaisir d’offrir is a platform launched by Lily Matras to explore, through a variety of forms, how experiencing live art can foster a sense of community.

With an MA in social studies and cultural policy from the Paris Institute for Political Studies - Sciences Po, and 10 years of experience in art curation and production, Lily Matras dedicates herself to studying the connections between art and society through the lens of the performative. After directing the festive artist poster publishing house Lapin-Canard until 2020, she joined the MA curriculum in Dance Studies at Freie Universität Berlin and co-founded The Performance Agency, which she co-directed until 2024. 

She has contributed to realize a variety of site-specific performance formats in collaboration with artists across genres (Adam Linder, Adrian Piper, Billy Bultheel, Cecilia Bengolea, Chino Amobi, Christelle Oyiri, Colin Self, Ceylan Öztrük, Deborah Macauley, Esben Weile Kjaer, Fran Cottell, Maja Malou Lyse, Lafawndah, Matthew Lutz-Kinoy, Mykki Blanco, Nuh Peace, Pauline Curnier Jardin, Peaches...), institutions throughout Europe (KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection, ArtGenève, Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art, Institut Français...), and various creative companies (Lemaire, Matière Noire, Abra, Brandlhuber+...) .
